[1328.8] Sonabuoys not dropping

Hi

It seems that some Aircraft/UAV does not drop sonabouys (manual and on ASW mission)

For exampole MQ-8C Fire-X UCAV or V-247 Vigilant UAV. See attachment scneario

You might already have done this, so apologies if so: have you checked the Game Settings to see if sonobuoys are turned to visible? I know a recent patch changed them to invisible by default.

The MQ-8C is dropping them - the weapon count is decreasing but it is not rendering them on the map.
When I load the save under the current dev build, I can see them, so the fix has already been made for the next build.

However, manually dropping them does not seem to be working as stated.

Good call on that. I had that turned off which is why I didn't see them on map. :o

I also turned on the datalinks for the selected unit and could see the odd sonobuoy connected to the MQ-8C. It is only dropping very infrequently which may be due to the size of the patrol area (?).

The V-247 doesn't have a sonobuoy comms link. Added one to a V-247 and it started dropping them.

OK! If no-one else makes the request, I'll do it later (and check both the USN and USMC variants).

Ok. After adding a sonobuoy comms link the V-247 drops.

But if i unassign and try to manually drop sonobuoys that doesn't seems to work.....

That seems to be an issue with the current build as stated. I think it has been fixed for the next build but will verify..

Okay, you found another DB issue!!! :D
There are no sensors on the AN/SSQ-36 which is blocking the manual release of the other sonobuoys.

Added a safety check to ignore this issue in the next build so it won't block dropping other buoys.
